Swimming

Our exceptional swim curriculum is a National American Red Cross program, which provides differentiated swim instruction for all campers. The fenced-in gunite pool features a 3-foot, shallow roped area for our most emergent swimmers. Deep end swimmers enjoy a 5 1/2 foot deep swim area with a water slide that may be used during supervised free swim periods. An American Red Cross certified water safety instructor (WSI) leads the aquatics staff, which also includes several certified lifeguards. All campers benefit from daily swim instruction in a small group setting. Campers also enjoy a supervised recreational free swim to cool off and play with their friends. Swim program participants have the opportunity to earn an American Red Cross swim card at the end of the summer.

Arts & Crafts

Campers participate in daily art and craft experiences that encourage creativity, self-expression and skill development. Campers work with markers, paint, clay, yarn and craft materials to create drawings, paintings, sculptures, collages and traditional camp crafts.

A New York State licensed art teacher supervises the program. An art counselor teaches each group in a designated art space.

The daily arts and crafts period offers a quiet, cool space for campers to be thoughtful and creative. Young artists create, explore and bring numerous projects home to display!

Tennis

Campers aged 6-13 will benefit from daily tennis lessons in  a small group setting. Highly qualified tennis teachers instruct campers to improve tennis skills, focusing on basic drills, fun games and introductory matches. Campers enjoy this special daily activity.  Racquets and equipment are provided by the camp or may be brought from home.
